We are so far away from our families that it's pretty hard to celebrate birthdays. The "coolest" thing we can do is post things on my blogs, so "HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!" We're really glad he's still with us. If any of you don't know, my dad had a major heart attack on May 2. After having three stints put in and exercising a ton, he is looking better than ever. Wish we could be there to celebrate by eating steak (he cooks steak over a fire, and they're wonderful), but we'll have to wait until Christmas.
Another event that happened is that sunday was Rod and Peggy's anniversary. We're obviously glad for their marriage (otherwise Lance wouldn't be here) and are so grateful for the things they do for us.
We hope these events were happy ones.
