For the grandparents

My dad asked for more pictures, so here they are. I know it's a lot of pictures, but it gives you a recap of the past couple of days. This is Jaycee with wild hair. I took her cute hairdo out and it looked like this (above). She's also coloring in her book, and notice which hand she's holding the marker in. That is the hand she holds anything with, so I'm pretty sure she's a lefty.
Jaycee was actually letting me take pictures of her natural face (not cheesing it). It's not very often she gives me that opportunity, so I took advantage of it. I was trying to get the bruise on her forehead to show up, but you can barely see it over her left eye. We went to the zoo on Monday and she was running around and being crazy. At one point she was running pretty fast and smacked into a 6x6 beam right on the corner. It knocked her flat on her back and she cried very hard.

This would be cuter if her hair wasn't crazy on the one side, but I still like it.

On Saturday Jaycee and I went to the rummage sales (or yard sales) all over Wauwatosa with our friends Devenee, and her son Dreyton. We probably went to at least ten of them. I didn't find very much, but Jaycee did get these necklaces and the bike/scooter she is riding on. I thought I'd put a picture in of her hairdo, since it's finally long enough to do cute hairdos. Everyone is surprised she sits still while I do her hair, but the "sitting" is relative. She moves around a lot, and gets into a lot, but you just adapt and wait for that brief second that she can't think of anything to dump out, break, or spray. It's really that simple.

Jaycee looks like she is so much fun! I can totally see her personality through the pictures. What a doll.

She is so super cute! She looks a lot like both of you, but in these pictures there are some that just scream Lance to me! I hope you guys are enjoying life out there! I'm sure it's a big adjustment, but you seem to be doing pretty well! Take care! Keep those pictures coming!

Just as cute as always :) Rumage sales?? LOL I don't think I've heard that one... maybe from my great grandma.. ;) Must be where Danny gets his "chest of drawers" from. I've been doing Kynzee's hair like that too.. although it's a pain in the butt to get out. Thanks for the cute pics! Kynzee was excited to see Jaycee lol.

Doing a toddlers hair doesn't sound "that simple." Man, I have a hard time doing my own hair. I don't even think about Paden's, so it's always wild. What am I going to do when I have a girl...if I have a girl...I hope I have a girl sometime. I want a little dancer! Jaycee is such a cutie. I really wish you would take a couple pictures of you and Lance, but ... I understand, the kids kind of consumes your life, and they're just so cute!!

You can never have too many pictures in a blog post! Jaycee is so darling and I'm getting so excited for our little photoshoot! You really do have a talent for keeping her occupied so you can do her hair. Jaycee's hair is always adorable!
