Needless to say, we had a great time, and are so grateful our neighbor thought of us. Now that the Brewers are in the post season, this town is on fire with celebrations, not that we've been to any, but it's fun to be in the midst of everything.

Dream Seats
On Wednesday night, Sep. 25th, we got a phone call from our neighbor. We had just met Steve a couple of days ago, but we knew his wife and two kids from when we moved in. He said that he had two tickets to the Brewers game for Thursday and wasn't able to go. He offered them to us, and Lance took them in a heartbeat. We were actually going to buy tickets for this game, but Lance decided he needed to study.
When we got the tickets, imagine our surprise when we found out they were in the Tundra Territory. That might not mean much to those of you who haven't been to Miller Park, but these are the seats that you look at from the nosebleeds and think, "Man, I'd love to relax in one of those recliners. Short of buying a Toyota truck, how do I get in there?"

Jaycee is modeling one of the free hats we were given upon entering the "Territory" and Lance is showing off the big screen TV right in front of us (we wouldn't want to miss the replays). I wonder if I will ever get her to stop sucking that thumb. She is very fond of it. I found myself watching the TV instead of the actual game and Lance kept giving me the look of disgust.
It's really an amazing park. That's the retractable roof.
This is the only time Lance actually sat down in his seat. It was an exciting game with an amazing finish (Ryan Braun hit a walk-off homerun to win the game in the 10th or 11th inning), and there was so much excitement in the stadium. We even had a local TV station come right behind us and do a broadcast about fan appreciation day in Miller Park. They interviewed the people we were sitting by, but Jaycee was snoozing in my arms, and we weren't interested in being on TV.

I've really been behind in checking blogs this week! I can't believe you sat in those seats...and for that SWEET game! I saw those seats when we were at the Wednesday game and was quite envious of the people in that section. What a cool neighbor!
